Presenting J.S.Bach´s ¨Musical Offering¨

The Guitarte music ensemble has started performing in concert J.S. BACH’S ¨Musical Offering¨ (MUSIKALISCHES OPFER) BWV 1079 (1747). The piece in its entirety has been transcribed (by Nikos Hadjieleftheriou) for a 2, 3, 4 and 6-guitar ensemble, in correspondence with J.S. BACH’S script, as a two, three, four and six-voice canon or fugue or ricercar . Regarding the Trio Sonata included in the piece, the Basso Continuo has been transcribed for a flute, a violin and 3 guitars as a Continuo.
Part of the piece (6 canons) was first performed on June 3, 2008 during a series of concerts entitled “Classical Musicians in our court” which were held at the “Theatre under the bridge”. All the canons and the fugues of the piece will be performed on July 8, 2008 on the historical ground of the Kokkinia Bloko Mantra Theatre.

Incidental music for a play by Manos Hadjidakis.

Namely, a piece written in 1951 in ballet music form for Rallou Manou’s “Greek Choreodrama”.
This is a ballet about Karagiozis – that very distinct and of major importance form of art which is the “shadow puppet theatre” – and in particular about the story entitled “Alexander the Great and the accursed serpent”.

The ensemble has already performed the piece as a ballet suite at the Santorini Guitar Festival (July 2006), at the Kokkinia Bloko Mantra Theatre (September 2006) and at the “Tea in the Sahara” Music Hall (October-November 2006)

Currently, the piece is presented in the form of a new comprehensive performance, based on the music by Manos Hadjidakis, texts by Antonis Petratos, plastic-scenic intervention by Sophia Houliara.

With the guitarte  musical ensemble (N. Hadjieleftheriou-M. Papamihail-H. Faklaris-F. Karayianopulos- Anna Sardjidou-Yiannis Galitis) puppeteer Athos Danelis joins in.

Η 'Μουσική προσφορά' του J. S. Bach (Musikalisches Opfer) BWV 1079 είναι ένα από εκείνα τα έργα που χαρακτηρίζονται μνημεία στην ιστορία της μουσικής. Γραμμένο στα τελευταία χρόνια της ζωής του μεγάλου Kάντορα, αποτελεί ένα ορόσημο στην τέχνη της πολυφωνίας. Ένα μουσικό κείμενο ασύγκριτα περιεκτικό σε ιδέες μοναδικής δεξιοτεχνίας στην ανάπτυξη και έκφραση, σπάνιο δείγμα μιας απόλυτης τέχνης. Έργο που αυτές του οι ιδιότητες το κάνουν να 'στέκεται' πάνω από ηχητικές επιλογές ή ενορχηστρωτικές αναγκαιότητες.

Τούτη η αίσθηση διέγειρε το Μουσικό σύνολο Guitarte (Νίκος Χατζηελευθερίου, Χρήστος Φάκλαρης, Φραγκούλης Καραγιαννόπουλος, Άννα Σαρτζίδου, Γιάννης Γαλίτης και Μαρία Παπαμιχαήλ) στη μεταγραφή και παρουσίαση αυτού του έργου.

Ξεχωριστή πρόκληση, δυνατό στοίχημα αλλά και μοναδικής ομορφιάς ταξίδι για τους μουσικούς του συνόλου, μια άκρως ενδιαφέρουσα ακρόαση για τους φίλους της μουσικής και της κιθάρας.
Συμμετέχουν η Νατάσσα Μηλιώρη (βιολί) και η Ασπασία Μπάνου (φλάουτο)

Με την ευκαιρία της απονομής του Κρατικού Βραβείου Ποίησης 2008 στη Δήμητρα Χ. Χριστοδούλου το Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο διοργανώνει μια ιδιαίτερη βραδιά μουσικής και ποίησης προς τιμήν της. Το σύνολο κιθαριστών guitarte  θα ερμηνεύσει έργα Μπαχ σε μεταγραφή για κιθάρα από το Νίκο Χατζηελευθερίου ενώ η ίδια η ποιήτρια θα διαβάσει ποίηση της και θα υπογράψει βιβλία της.

Το βράδυ της Παρασκευή 30 Ιανουρίου 2009 & ώρα 9 το βράδυ το περιοδικό «Εντευκτήριο» υποδέχεται στον χώρο του μια ιδιαίτερα ελκυστική συνύπαρξη μουσικής και ποίησης. Το μουσικό σύνολο guitarte θα ερμηνεύσει τη «Μουσική προσφορά» του Γιόχαν Σεμπάστιαν Μπαχ, σε μεταγραφή (του Νίκου Χατζηελευθερίου) για κιθάρες, και η ποιήτρια Δήμητρα Χριστοδούλου θα διαβάσει ποιήματά της από τις συλλογές «Ελάχιστα πριν» και «Λιμός».

Η «Μουσική προσφορά» (Musikalisches Opfer) του Μπαχ συγκαταλέγεται στα έργα που χαρακτηρίζονται μνημεία στην ιστορία της μουσικής. Γραμμένο στα τελευταία χρόνια της ζωής του μεγάλου Πάστορα, αποτελεί ένα ορόσημο στην τέχνη της πολυφωνίας. Πρόκειται για μουσικό κείμενο ασύγκριτα περιεκτικό σε ιδέες μοναδικής δεξιοτεχνίας στην ανάπτυξη και έκφραση, σπάνιο δείγμα μιας απόλυτης τέχνης. Οι ιδιότητές του αυτές το κάνουν να «στέκεται» πάνω από ηχητικές επιλογές η ενορχηστρωτικές αναγκαιότητες.
